The plant-based Vitamin D3 is produced from lichen. It's a small and unique organic species that contains one of the only plant-based sources of the body's preferred biologically active form (cholecalciferol).

KIND TO OUR PLANET
The lichen for this supplement comes from a designated and sustainable growing site, where it’s able to fully regrow in areas that have been harvested. Often, vitamin D3 supplements are derived from Lanolin, also known as wool yolk, wool wax, or wool grease. This is a wax secreted by sheep glands - a by product of the often cruel wool industry. Which is why we always avoid it.
